We're based in southern Ontario and spend a few months in each destination so we can offer you the best local knowledge, lighting, and laid-back energy. Without flying all over the world and quadrupling our carbon emissions. 

We're a couple of free spirits that know when to slow it down and run wild! 

You can find us swimming like fishes in lakes during the summer, hiking during the spring and fall and eating our way through somewhere tropical in the winter.

Want to Elope In Costa Rica? 

January — April, 2026

Picture this: misty mornings in the cloud forest, then ditching your shoes for a black sand beach by noon. January-April is Costa Rica's dry season, when the jungle's still dripping green but you're not melting through your fancy dress clothes (if that’s the vibe you’re going for). 

Waterfalls are flowing, sloths are hanging around (literally), and you get those moody, romantic vibes without fighting the weather. 

If you're over winter back home, this is your excuse to thaw out and get married somewhere that actually feels alive.

Want to Elope In Iceland? 

May — June, 2026

Iceland in late spring means 20+ hours of daylight, temps in the 40s-50s, and dramatic skies that never quite go dark. 

You're chasing waterfalls in golden hour light that lasts until midnight, saying vows on black sand beaches with nobody else around, and hiking to glaciers without the winter freeze. 

It's moody, raw, and otherworldly. 

Think moss-covered lava fields, snow-capped peaks, and that soft Nordic light that makes everything feel like a dream. 


WE had the most magical, fairytale elopement in Iceland.

I came across ' The Organic Moment" website and absolutely fell in love. When Val woke in the morning I told her all about it and showed her what I found and we sent off a contact request. WE then received a ' freaking video message' from Liz. <3 It was so personal and instantly we connected.

Fast forward - Sept 2024. We had the most magical, fairytale elopement in Iceland. Liz & Jason were incredible! Organized, supportive, empathic & truly I am at a loss for words how incredible they were. All our nerves or fears were easily dissolved and they made us feel so incredible comfortable. IT was the most incredible 8 hours, devoted 100% to us and our love. I've never felt more in love with my wife and more comfortable in front of a camera then these two make you feel! We not only had the best experience but we made two incredible new friends.

Want to Elope In Banff? 

July — September, 2026

Banff in summer means crisp mountain mornings and cozy afternoons —ideal for hiking to alpine lakes without freezing or sweating. 

You get towering peaks, turquoise glacial water, and wildflowers everywhere. The trails are clear, the days are long, and you can actually explore without snowshoes or a parka. 

It's dramatic and breathtaking without being harsh. Think misty mornings by Moraine Lake, golden light on jagged peaks, and forest ceremonies where the only sound is wind through the pines. 

When the Rockies show off, and you want your vows to feel as epic as the view.


Where to even begin! Working with Liz and Jason was the best choice we could have made.

We wanted our vows to one another to be memorable, significant and meaningful. An elopement without all the distractions of a standard wedding felt like it was right for us. Working with Liz to plan a day of celebrating that, was easy and seamless. She was always quick to respond to questions via email or zoom in planning, and were on top of timelines and checklists in preparation. They were open to ideas and suggestions of things we wanted to include, namely our four legged companion!

It was so wonderful getting to know Liz and Jason throughout the few days we were able to have with them. It honestly felt like we were with old friends. They are such genuinely kind people, and it’s hard to come by that in this world.

Want to Elope In Ontario? 

October — December, 2026

Ontario in fall and early winter means fiery autumn colors fading into snowy forest magic. 

Misty lake mornings, golden birch trees, and eventually that first snowfall that makes everything feel like a fairytale. It's moody, intimate, and quintessentially Canadian. 

Quiet forests, frozen lakeshores, and that cozy feeling of bundling up with your person. No crowds, no noise, just you two, the wilderness, and a day that feels like it's completely yours.


They had the whole day planned out, with activities, snacks, and timing all accounted for. 

Book Liz and Jay for your elopement shoot! They are honestly the sweetest couple, and were a blast to spend the day with for our shoot. They scouted out all the locations beforehand and knew where we had to be at what time to get the best light. My wife and I are in love with the pictures they've given us. Everything shot is perfectly, and we wouldn't change a thing. The photos somehow look very natural, but also magical at the same time. These elopement photos are a very fun and stress-free alternative, which I am super grateful that we were able to experience ourselves. My wife and I would highly recommend The Organic Moment Photography!

We love elopements in Costa Rica in Winter & Spring:

We love elopements in Iceland in Early Summer:
Golden hour that never ends. Iceland is all about chasing waterfalls, glaciers, & raw, dramatic otherworldly landscapes.

We love elopements in Banff in Late Summer:
Alpine lakes are thawed, wildflowers are blooming, and the trails are wide open for epic mountain ceremonies.

If you want to elope in 2026, there is still plenty of time to book and plan. The fact that we’re in locations for long periods of time helps to narrow down the location!

We recommend booking 8-12 months out to secure your spot on our travel schedule and give us time to help you plan something truly intentional. That said, we've made magic happen with less notice!
