How to Make Your Moraine Lake Elopement Official

To marry in Alberta, where Banff National Park is located, you’ll need a marriage license. Obtain it from a registry agent’s office, and after the ceremony, the officiant will send a completed license to Alberta Vital Statistics for registration. You’ll also need two witnesses to make it legal. There’s a couple options here, you can ask a couple strangers to be your witnesses for you (everyone loves love!) which is so adventurous and fun! Or, myself and my husband Jason (and Banff elopement videographer extraordinaire) can be your witnesses !
