An Epic Iceland Beach Elopement | Michael and Nicole

How Their Wedding Day Began

Michael and Nicole decided to elope in Iceland and incorporate their favourite locations and activities to truly make their elopement day beautiful and unique to them. We started the wedding day with getting mostly ready at their Airbnb. However they wanted to do their last touch ups at an epic waterfall and then do a romantic reveal. A pop up tent was a great option for Nicole and Michael to change into their wedding attire before getting on either side of their rented Isak 4×4 to adjust their finishing touches. After Nicole put on her earrings, adjusted her makeup and checked her hair, Michael was about done fixing his tie.

Elopement Reveal

Once they were ready, they popped out from either side of the car for one of the sweetest reveals I’ve ever seen. They were so excited and shocked at how gorgeous they both looked and I loved how they celebrated each other, twirling around and showing their outfits to each other.

Iceland Waterfall

After their reveal they wanted to spend time at an epic Icelandic waterfall where they could admire the beauty and size of the gorgeous falls while they got in touch with their inner child, skipping around together and Michael had fun lifting Nicole in his arms and spinning her around. Such a unique start to their elopement day while also integrating time in nature full of fun and great snacks.

Epic Beach Ceremony

After having fun and spending time at the waterfall, Nicole and Michael wanted to say their I do’s on an epic and mystical Icelandic beach that was very special to them. Their vows were so beautiful and heartfelt, bringing tears to their eyes and being in all the emotions together.

First Dance

They then decided to go right into their first dance on the beach and Michael pulled out some very cool moves that surprised Nicole, it was so endearing to witness 🙂

Climbing The Rocks

After spending more time at the beach they wanted to do more skipping and climbing the rocks, an activity they love to do together. I love how intentional this was planned into their day and made it extra special.

Champagne Pop

We concluded the fun with a champagne pop on the beach of their fav bubbly and then proceeded to have a delicious dinner before they wanted to head back to their airbnb, hop in the hot tub and watch the Northern Lights. A stunning way to end their elopement day 🙂
