Late Spring | Early Fall: May, June, September, and October are the optimal months for a Peyto Lake elopement. In the late spring there are blooming wildflowers to enjoy. Fall presents a tapestry of warm colours and fewer crowds for a more secluded experience.

  1. Bow Summit Lookout: Experience panoramic views of Peyto Lake and surrounding mountains from Bow Summit Lookout, providing a breathtaking ceremony backdrop.
  2. Special Lookout Spot: There’s an amazing view through the forest that avoids the big crowds at the main Peyto Lookout spot. It’s only a 20minute walk from the parking lot and is more accessible then the usual 30min steep hike up the main path.
  3. Bow Lake: Bow lake is only a 5 minute drive down the road from Peyto! These two lakes make a great pair for an easeful day.
  4. Lake Louise: Check out the infamous Lake Louise for your wedding day and pair it with Peyto. These two locations are only 35minutes apart and pair well together. In an 8hour day, you can pair these two gorgeous locations including a super chill canoe ride, ceremony and couple’s portraits.
