An intimate Kananaskis Elopement

Regan and Erin wanted to beat the Banff crowds and spend their day among the gorgeous Canadian Rocky Mountains. During the planning process, we proposed a variety of secluded locations for their intimate ceremony. Kananaskis Mountain Lodge was the winner for a luxury and secluded experience. They decided on a sunrise ceremony so it would just be the two of them. They especially wanted to avoid a long hike in the dark. We recommend locations that were close by but still had gorgeous views.

After their First Look and Ceremony we headed to Mount Kidd for a picnic among the alpine autumn trees. They ate ritz crackers with their adorable pup Buddy and enjoyed the mountain views. After a short break for a nap in the afternoon, we then headed out to Moraine Lake. We travelled to Moraine Lake via shuttle and enjoyed the sunset together. It was a blissful day that holds a special place in our hearts. Check out their love story below!

How Regan & Erin Met

We were introduced on an App. But, as it turned out we had similar friend groups through the Prince Albert and Saskatoon Rugby communities. It was straight into texting and phone calls. We then spent our first date with burgers, beers, and a Christmas light driving tour. We’ve upheld the tradition of doing all the Christmas light looking every year since.

Their Proposal Story

Regan took us on a lovely coffee date at our local coffee shop. He then took us to the top of our hill where we always take our pupper walking. He said “I love you, I want to spend my life with you! Will you marry me?” The rest is history!
