Moraine Lake Lodge LGBTQ+ Elopement – Lauren and Amber

Amber and Lauren had a very relaxed morning getting ready together at Moraine Lake Lodge before celebrating their LGBTQ+ elopement. After getting pampered with hair and makeup, they shared champagne and basked in the alpine lake views of Moraine Lake as they prepared for the adventurous day ahead. Amber serenaded Lauren in bed while wearing pyjamas with their sweet fur babies faces. They couldn’t bring their dogs so during the planning process we ensured to find a way to incorporate their precious dogs.

After some more champagne and lots of laughs, we prepared for their first look just outside the lodge. When they saw each other for the first time in their outfits it was such a special moment and they were so ready to hike to their ceremony location next! We walked to a waterfall in the forest nearby and they exchanged vows while listening to the low rushing waters. They said their ‘I do’s’, exchanged rings and vows, symbolizing their marriage, it was so beautiful and emotional to witness!!

We had a blast exploring around the blue waters of Moraine Lake and enjoying a forest picnic with macarons and a charcuterie board. We climbed the rockpile and watched the sunset, reflecting on their perfect day. As the sun set they broke out into their first dance before walking back to their accommodation with lanterns. Moraine Lake is so special at sunset and we had the place mostly to ourselves!!
